Yes, if it carries the rating your site requires. FR knit hoodies and quarter-zips give warmth and flame resistance together, which makes them a common cold-weather layer on oil, gas and utility work. Wear cotton, wool or FR-rated layers underneath rather than synthetics.
A flame resistant shirt with ventilation panels, usually under the arms or across the back, to move air through hot shifts. It keeps the flame resistance while being more bearable in summer. The Portflame+ vented shirt in this range is built for that use.
Follow the care label. For hi-vis, skip bleach and fabric softener, which fade the fluorescent color and dull the reflective tape. For FR, skip bleach, softener and starch, which can coat the fibers. Washing inside out extends the life of both.
