A barn full of boots
Overlook Boots opens in Glen Rock, Pennsylvania, about eight miles north of the Mason-Dixon line. Home is an early-1900s barn on Potosi Road, with more than 3,000 square feet of ground floor stocked with work boots, apparel, and accessories.

The barn goes online. Tradespeople outside York County start ordering the same boots the locals were driving in for, and Overlook begins building the multi-brand catalog it is known for today.

A second storefront opens at 2009 West Street in a mid-1950s warehouse once used as an antiques market. The remodeled floor brings Thorogood, Timberland PRO, Carolina, Keen Utility, and Danner to the Chesapeake.
