RKC154?

It carries 1,000 grams of 3M™ Thinsulate™ Ultra plus an extreme-cold PU direct-injection shell underfoot — built for sustained sub-freezing duty, not just walking through cold. Insulation interacts with your circulation, socks, and activity, so treat it as a guide for stationary cold-weather work.

Is the B.R.T. waterproof?

Yes. eVent® waterproofing keeps water out while letting moisture vapor escape, and the leather is flash- and water-resistant on top of the membrane.

What is the Vibram® Fire & Ice outsole?

A Vibram® 148 compound formulated to stay flexible in extreme cold and resist heat, so the lugs keep biting on ice and frozen ground where standard rubber compounds stiffen and skate.

What kind of toe does the B.R.T. have?

It is a soft-toe military boot with a fiberglass shank, which keeps it lighter and leaves the toe box roomy for a heavy winter sock. For a rated toe in Rocky's line, see the Ironclad Legend.

How should an insulated military boot fit?

Order the size you wear in athletic shoes and allow for the heavy sock you will wear; a snug boot compresses the insulation and runs colder. The speed-lace NATO hooks let you lock the heel back and open the shaft quickly.

Is the B.R.T. uniform compliant?

It is a commercial military boot in a coyote or black finish built to unit-purchase specifications; confirm the current AR 670-1 / DAFI 36-2903 color and height requirements for your unit before ordering.

https://uverlookboots.com/products/rocky-mens-b-r-t-brooks-rangetactical-8-military-boot-black-rkc154
